In Response to COVID-19

Update | June 22, 2020

The Station will reopen as of Monday, June 22 with modified operating procedures.

We want to stress that our goal is to ensure our members feel safe and secure within our building as we adjust to our “new normal.” This will be a joint effort, so we thank you for your understanding and communication over the last three months and we ask that you continue to work with us openly and honestly as we embark on this new phase of reentry.

Here are a few things we have done to assist in keeping our workplace safe and to support your return:

  • Cleaning Supplies – We are making these items more easily accessible for you. Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, masks and gloves will be on-site at the front desk and with our property management team.

  • Janitorial Services – The Station has in-house janitorial services that clean the entire building every day and are on-site until noon. This service has continued at an amplified level since the lockdown began and will continue to operate in such a manner indefinitely.

  • Limiting the space – This will regulate and allow us to control the flow in and out of the office.  We will also be restricting the conference room to 3 people at a time to ensure proper social distancing is followed.

To help us keep The Station as safe as possible, we require you to wear a face mask in the common areas (everywhere except for private offices and conference rooms). We also have a non-contact thermometer in the reception area. At the building owner’s insistence, we will be keeping a temperature log of all those who enter. If you feel sick in any way or have a fever, please stay home and seek a healthcare professional.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this unprecedented time, and we look forward to resuming business and connecting with you all individually. Please reach out to us via email/phone with questions as we want to accommodate each unique situation as best as possible.

Update | March 22, 2020

The Station will remain closed for the week of 3/23. Once again, there will be no admittance of visitors or guests under any circumstances.

Like many others, we’ve taken advantage of remote tools such as Zoom to maintain steady communications. You can also stay up to date on all things The Station and meet some local entrepreneurs in our Slack workspace.

To mitigate disruptions, we will also be moving upcoming events to a digital platform when applicable. Stay tuned for updates later today.

Update | March 15, 2020

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, we are still in the grips of the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore the situation at The Station for the week of 3/16 will continue along the same guidelines as it did last week.

To reiterate, there will be NO ADMITTANCE of visitors or guests under any circumstances.

If you have any questions, we ask that you please notify:

Again, this situation is ever-evolving, so please understand we CANNOT guarantee how long it will be until The Station will be open. We will follow federal, state, and municipal guidelines, as well as our own caution when evaluating operations each day.

Thank you for your patience and understanding! Stay safe!

PS — We’ve created a Slack workspace for our community to help facilitate all-things The Station. This will be another valuable resource to communicate internally, check conference room availability and upcoming events, and network amongst each other as you see fit. Please let us know if you have issues connecting. We will continue to modify/update channels/features to better serve you in the coming weeks.

Update | March 12, 2020

In light of recent events related to COVID-19 (AKA Coronavirus), and in order to better protect our members and the local community at large, The Station has decided to restrict access to its space indefinitely. There will be no admittance of visitors or guests.

This situation is ever evolving, so please understand we CANNOT guarantee that The Station will be open next week. We will follow federal, state, and municipal guidelines, as well as our own caution when evaluating operations each day.

Update | March 11, 2020

Both The Garibaldi Group and The Station value the health and safety of our employees and coworking members. As public concern grows, we will continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) and take all precautionary measures necessary. We are complying with the advice from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the New Jersey Department of Health regarding proper preventative measures.

On Wednesday, March 11, the offices at 14 Fairmount Ave. in Chatham, NJ will be closed for precautionary measures. A professional cleaning company will be in the space to deep clean and sanitize touch points throughout the office.

The Garibaldi Group and The Station will reopen on Thursday, March 12 and resume regular working hours.
